The Cudy P5 5G router is a state-of-the-art device that combines the latest 5G technology with Wi-Fi 6 functionality. Equipped with the Qualcomm X62 5G modem, compliant with the 3GPP Release 16 standard, it enables impressive download speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps. The router supports both 5G NSA and SA modes. Additionally, the Cudy P5 features four removable 5G/LTE antennas, ensuring optimized signal strength, as well as two SIM card slots, allowing seamless switching between different networks. With a Wi-Fi speed of up to 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, the Cudy P5 is ideal for uninterrupted gaming and high-resolution streaming.

Compared to its predecessor, the Cudy P4 5G router, the P5 offers several significant improvements. While both models are equipped with the Qualcomm X62 5G modem and support download speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps, the P5 features four Gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which can be configured as a WAN port, enabling seamless integration into existing networks. In contrast, the P4 offers three Gigabit Ethernet ports that can be configured as either WAN or LAN ports. Additionally, the P5 supports the mmWave frequency range, allowing for higher data rates, while the P4 is limited to Sub-6 GHz frequencies. Another improvement of the P5 is its four removable 5G/LTE antennas, allowing for more flexible placement to achieve optimal reception. Furthermore, the P5 includes two SIM card slots, whereas the P4 has only one, ensuring greater network selection and redundancy.

Both routers provide extensive VPN support, including WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec, Zerotier, PPTP, and L2TP, making them versatile solutions for secure network connections. The management is handled through a user-friendly web interface or the Cudy app, which also enables integration into a Cudy mesh system.
