The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E operates according to the HomePlug AV2 standard. The HomePlug AV2 standard is a technology that enables data transmission over the existing electrical wiring in a building. It is an evolution of the original HomePlug AV standard and offers improved performance, higher speeds, and additional features. HomePlug AV2 allows data transfer rates of up to 1200 Mbps over the power line. This is ideal for applications that require high bandwidth, such as HD video streaming, online gaming, and fast data transfers. HomePlug AV2 supports Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), which means multiple data streams can be transmitted simultaneously. This improves the efficiency and performance of the system, especially in environments with a lot of electrical interference.
The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E features an integrated power socket, so you don't lose any electrical outlets. You can continue to connect and use other electrical devices while extending your network.
The FRITZ!Powerline 1220E is fully compatible with other FRITZ! products, allowing seamless integration into your existing FRITZ! home network. You can easily use it with your FRITZ! router, FRITZ! repeater, and other FRITZ! Powerline adapters.
Note: The outlets used in Powerline / DLAN networks must be on the same phase, otherwise a connection is only possible with the use of a phase coupler.
