MikroTik SXT LTE6 (2023): Affordable, Compact, Fast
Not everyone needs a huge grid antenna on the roof. If you live in the suburbs or the cell tower is within line of sight, the SXT LTE6 kit is the visually nicer and technically smarter solution.
The new version (SXTR&FG621-EA) has been optimized in price but offers full LTE Cat 6 performance. This means: The device connects to multiple frequency bands simultaneously to double the speed.
The "Swiss Army Knife" of Connectivity
What distinguishes the SXT from almost all other outdoor antennas are the ports behind the cover: 1. Two Ethernet Ports: One for input (PoE-In to the router), one for output. 2. PoE-Out: You can attach an IP camera or a MikroTik WiFi AP to the second port. The SXT simply passes the power through. This saves you running a second cable to the roof! 3. Two SIM Slots: If Provider A fails, the device automatically switches to Provider B.
Easy Alignment
While high-gain antennas (like the LHG) often require millimeter-precise aiming, the SXT forgives inaccuracies. With its 60° beamwidth, it captures signals broadly. This is ideal if you don't have professional tools for alignment or the signal comes from various reflections (buildings).
