The XPOL-24 expands Poynting's very popular Cross Polarized (XPOL) antenna range. The XPOL-24 is Poynting's first 4×4 MIMO 5G/4G band antenna with exceptional performance. This is due to the inclusion of advanced material technology, which uses an artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) and a new configuration that has been shown to provide exceptional improvements in bandwidth and gain. The radiation patterns of this antenna are exceptionally well controlled, which further contributes to the exceptional performance of the antenna.
The XPOL-24 offers broadband frequency coverage from 617 to 4200 MHz with a peak gain of 11 dBi across the individual operating bands. The antenna performs excellently in the following frequency bands: 617 - 960 MHz, 1710 - 2170 MHz, 2300 - 2700 MHz, and 3400 - 4200 MHz. The antenna is therefore compatible with the 4G and 5G services of various providers.
The exceptional broadband performance is an important factor for 5G/4G technologies, as these technologies rely on features like Carrier Aggregation (CA) to provide the best possible reception and throughput across multiple frequency bands simultaneously. This makes the XPOL-24 directional antenna the ideal solution for current and future 5G/4G antenna installations.
The housing is made of weather-resistant plastic. The construction is robust and well-made and meets the IP65 standard. The Poynting XPOL-24 can therefore be easily used as an outdoor antenna, even in the long term.
The XPOL-24 antenna is designed for mounting on a mast or wall bracket. A mounting system is included.
