5G and LTE Cat 20 (4x4 MIMO)
The heart is the ultra-fast 5G modem. It supports not only the new 5G standard but is also backward compatible with LTE Cat 20. This means: Even if 5G is unavailable, the router bundles up to 7 LTE frequencies (Carrier Aggregation) to get the maximum out of the 4G network. It uses four antenna ports (4x4 MIMO) for this – for optimal performance, we recommend matching 4x4 outdoor antennas (e.g., from Poynting).
Maximum Connectivity
Unlike smaller routers, the RUTX50 offers a whopping 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports. This allows you to connect switches, access points, or PCs directly at full speed. Thanks to Dual-SIM, you can use, for example, a home SIM card and a local card abroad – the router manages the switch automatically.
Software Without Limits
The RUTX50 runs the full RutOS with all enterprise features: VPN (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec), Firewall, VLAN, Modbus, MQTT, and of course remote management via RMS. Thanks to the powerful Quad-Core processor, performance remains high even with encrypted VPN connections.
